I am Italian, from Florence, the cradle of the Renaissance!
I have various language abilities in French, English, Chinese, Spanish, German, Russian and I have used these languages in both touristic, commercial and educational contexts.
In my classes I use many different teaching methods and I try anything that would help motivate students to learn, from traditional approaches to contemporary movies, theatre, art and music. Everyone learns in a different way! In a classroom full of students it’s often hard to find what works for a particular student, that’s why I love tutoring!
I believe in continuous progress and growth which are the main reason why I like teaching and I keep studying other languages such as Arabic and Chinese.
At home I speak French, Italian and English.
As a person I am reliable, diplomatic, sympathetic, active, positive and I am professional in my work.
I am currently teaching Italian at the “Language Institute” in Adelaide and I regularly give Italian and French lessons one to one and in group.
One of my best experience as a teacher was in China, Beijing, where I taught Italian to students who wanted to study at University in Italy.
I already have experience of tutoring languages at various levels as I worked with students of different age in various countries such as Italy, France, Uk, China and Australia.
I studied French, German and English at High school and I graduated from the Faculty of Arts (Languages) at Florence University. I have a Diploma “ITALS” (Cà Foscari University, Venice) for teaching Italian as a second language. I also studied in different countries such as Uk, France, Spain, Austria, China and Australia and I particularly developed my knowledge of the Chinese language and culture through a year of working as an Italian teacher in China and studying at “Peking University of Languages and Culture”.
